    Impacto de la Covid19 en las barreras percibidas para practicar actividad física en las personas usuarias de centros fitness en España

    Esta investigación pretende conocer las barreras percibidas, así como posibles variables predictoras, en personas que practican actividad física en centros fitness que se encontraban confinadas en el hogar porla pandemia de COVID-19. La muestra estuvo conformada por 8.087 practicantes de actividad física. Se administró un cuestionario en línea por correo electrónico. Se realizó un análisis descriptivo de las barreras percibidas y un análisis de regresión logística para determinar posibles variables predictoras. Las barreras percibidas más importantes fueron el precio y la suerte de la seguridad. La edad, el sexo, la frecuencia de práctica física vigorosa y la observación de las recomendaciones de la OMS serían las variables predictoras en mayor medida de las barreras percibidas. Los resultados son relevantes para que las organizaciones deportivas planifiquen su oferta de servicios después del confinamiento

    Socioeconomic impact of hosting a national sporting event in Muallim District, Malaysia

    In Malaysia, many sporting events had been conducted every year. Unfortunately, less research has been conducted on the benefits and side effects of the events. Thus, the impact of hosting a sport event is not well understood. This study was conducted to determine the impact of a national level sport event hosting, namely Sukan Institusi Malaysia (SUKIPT) (in English: Higher Education Sport) on the socioeconomic aspect among residents in Muallim District, Malaysia. A total of 546 respondents, consisting of athletes, managers, spectators and volunteers were recruited as participants of this study. They were given questionnaires that consisted of elements such as happiness and unity among Muallim residents, tourism and economic chances, interest to sports and healthy lifestyle and views on negative impacts. The results were presented descriptively, and the findings indicated a significant impact of SUKIPT on various aspects, including increased happiness and unity among residents, positive effects on tourism and economic opportunities, enhanced interest in sports and healthy lifestyles, and concerns about negative impacts such as environmental pollution and price increments. This study provides valuable insights into the multifaceted impact of hosting national sports events on the socioeconomic aspects of the host city, and highlights the potential benefits and challenges associated with such events.

    Strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of football industry in the Iranian Mazandaran Province

    The objective of this study was to analyze the strengths, weak-nesses, opportunities and threats of football industry in the Iranian Ma-zandaran Province. The sample of the present study consisted of 80 foot-ball experts (92.5% males and 7.5% females). The instrument used was a valid and reliable questionnaire consisting of four parts: 1- Strengths (17 questions), 2- Weaknesses (25 questions), 3- Opportunities (13 questions) and 4- Threats (19 questions). The statistical analysis was carried out with SPSS 24. The results showed that Mazandaran football industry had more weaknesses than strengths and more threats than opportunities. Conside-ring these results, the authors propose a series of strategies to improve the football industry of this province using the SWOT approach.

    The relationship between sport management and the field of disability: A bibliometric analysis

    La relación entre la gestión deportiva y el ámbito de la discapacidad ha ido ganando interés en los últimos años. El número de personas con discapacidad que practican deporte ha aumentado significativamente, y los objetivos de la gestión deportiva se han centrado en promover la participación y mejorar la salud y el bienestar de las personas con discapacidad. Este trabajo analiza los artículos publicados en la Web of Science sobre la práctica deportiva para personas con discapacidad y el ámbito de la gestión deportiva. El análisis bibliométrico nos permite descubrir el estado actual de un campo de investigación, identificar a los principales autores, artículos y temas, y proponer futuras líneas de investigación para desarrollarlo aún más. Los artículos publicados entre 1999 y 2022 se analizaron cuantitativamente y por co-ocurrencia de palabras y autores. Posteriormente, a través del enlace bibliográfico, los artículos se agruparon en diferentes clústeres. Se encontraron cuatro temas centrales, siendo las áreas de marketing y eventos deportivos las más desarrolladas.Este estudio proporciona una base para futuras investigaciones sobre la práctica deportiva para personas con discapacidad en el campo de gestión deportiva. Los resultados de este estudio pueden ayudar a mejorar la participación de las personas con discapacidad en el deporte, y mejorar su salud y bienestar.
