Tejeda sitúa la obra de Sevilla dentro de un canon más amplio de la abstracción geométrica, al tiempo que muestra cómo su arte trasciende sus orígenes analíticos mediante una sensibilidad poética persistente. Motivos centrales como la línea, la retícula, el ritmo y la variación reaparecen a lo largo de los seis decenios de práctica de Sevilla, conformando un diálogo coherente entre las obras tempranas desarrolladas en el Centro de Cálculo de la Universidad de Madrid y sus series posteriores, de carácter más expresivo. Estos elementos no son meros recursos formales, sino vehículos de implicación emocional, que generan “geometrías” capaces de resonar en el espectador más allá de la comprensión racional. El capítulo subraya la capacidad de Sevilla para combinar precisión técnica y profundidad afectiva, cuestionando la marginación histórica de las mujeres artistas en España y reivindicando la importancia de la intuición y la belleza en su obra. La narrativa curatorial de Tejeda plantea la exposición Ritmos, tramas, variables como un recorrido circular a través de este juego entre emoción y juicio, mostrando cómo Sevilla reformula constantemente su lenguaje visual sin abandonar sus preocupaciones esenciales.
