    Resumen: Se pretende esbozar un esquema teórico mínimo que se haga cargo de algunos debates internos al panorama feminista actual. Tomando como referente ilustrado a Celia Amorós y su reciente análisis de las estremecedoras relaciones entre el capitalismo neoliberal globalizado y el patriarcado, el objetivo consistirá en apuntar, siquiera a modo de interrogante o advertencia, en qué sentido el pregonar la muerte del sujeto moderno y la condena de la razón por “falogocéntrica”, no nos puede llevar a un “más allá” de la modernidad burguesa, capitalista, etnocéntrica y patriarcal sino más bien a un “más acá” feudal, tribal, mafioso. Tomando el caso del feminicidio de Ciudad Juárez en clave polémica como “utopía posmoderna”, se defenderá que el único “más allá” de la opresión, posible y obligado fue, es y será, inexorablemente, el del Derecho.

    Situación de la mujer indígena en Panamá

    In this work, I will present a general overview of the situation of indigenous women in Panamá. As indigenous women we have a long way to go in order to move from theory topractice, from rhetoric to action and from rights to accomplishments. At the dawn of the XXIst century indigenous women have made great strides in the social, cultural, economic and political life of Panama. We have shown that we are able to demand our rights as women and as indigenous people. Despite this, indigenous women remain doubly vulnerable both in their role as individuals and as the indigenous collective. In this sense, strengthening women's rights, principally human rights and the defense of indigenous rights will benefit the development of our entire society.
