This study analyzes the effect of World Heri-tage Sites before, during, and after the economic crisis caused by the pandemic and the restrictions on the movement of people. It is observed that the recovery was slower, both for foreign and domestic tourism, in provinces with cultural heritage sites, particularly in those declared by UNESCO at earlier dates
