    On the basis of data for a sample of 304 of university graduates with laboral experience, and another of 164 companies in Galicia (N.W. Spain), this paper analyses the transition from higher education to employment in terms of training given, skills required and certain other job-related variables in comparative perspective between university graduates and managers.
