C.; Honrubia García, Mario; Facultad de BiologíaThe celulose and lignin degradation potential of Cenpona bresadolae, a fungus causing brown rot in Pinus halepensis, has been measured as a percentage of weight loss of commercial celulose and lignin. It has been found that the degradation of celulose is dependent on the previous treatment of the substratum with chemical reagents. Besides, the presence of a carbohydrates such glucose. added exogenously, is necessary.
