    Stratégies, audience et lectorat de la littérature diasporique ouest-africaine

    We d i s t i n g u i s h i n t h e Fr e n c h - s p e a k i n g A f r i c a n l i t e r at u r e t wo c at e g o - ries, there are on one hand, the exclusively published literatures in the off-centered countries, and on the other hand, the literatures in link narrow with the French lite - rature. The de fi ned fi rst ones as he literatures of the exigüité like told by François Pare, con fi ne themselves to their zone of production : their authorities of legitimacy conferring them only a vague visibility at the world level. The second group longs to be born in France, to be crowned by the French-Parisian literary fi eld and to integrate the world literature. To do it, the African writers of the Diaspora set up strategies of valuation for their acceptance in the French-speaking literary system. The article analyzes these strategies and these postures of authors’ valuation and esthetic to reach the Republic of Letters.
