A relative high number of individuals of this specie has been sampled in the Mar Menor (SE coast. lberian Peninsula). ;I hyperh;iline coastal lagoon, on the firrrodoc~t~~/-C<~~iIí~rpí~ beds. The size range and the \cxual maturity degree. suggest a stable population of the specie in this I;igoon. This allows us to expand the limited knowledge on the biology, ecology and geographical distribution of this gobiid.
