(Equisetales: Equisetaceae) in Jaén province (Spain)(Servicios de Publicaciones Universidad de Murcia, 2014) González-Jurado, GonzaloA new location for Equisetum palustre L. in the Cazorla-Segura mountain range, Jaén province, is presented. Characterized by an elevation of 460 MSL, this site differs from previously known ones in this area, all of them being located in montane environments. The presence of E. palustre at low altitude casts doubts on the actual distribution and abundance of this species in Andalusia, where it is legally protected.
