The research was carried out using a descriptive, correlational and transversal methodology, which allowed the collection of information and data for a deeper understanding of the object of study. These traditions were found to have a significant impact on cultural identity and the community at large. A high impact of traditions on the environment is perceived. These traditions strengthen cultural identity and promote environmental conservation. It is concluded that it is necessary to continue promoting the revaluation of ancestral traditions and implement conservation and sustainability measures.
