Furthermore specific characteristics of podcasts and the related concepts of “enhanced podcasts” and “vodcasts” will be explained. Then the technical and pedagogical design options will be highlighted including their respective advantages and disadvantages. To demonstarte the different organizational models to implement podcasts as a system component, different examples are presented. Finally some advantages and possibilities of student participation in podcast production are mentioned.
