    Las oraciones impersonales: un análisis comparativo español-italiano

    One of the most complex aspects of Spanish syntax is represented by impersonal sentences. The effort to carry out a Spanish-Italian contrastive analysis of these sentences represents a possible answer to the challenge, for teachers of Spanish as a foreign language, of transmitting these expressions to Italian speaking students. In developing our discussion, we start from two interpretative proposals: that of José Joaquín Montes Giraldo, "Frase nominal, frase verbal y enunciados impersonales" (Thesaurus, XLI, 1986), and that of Luis Alberto Hernando Cuadrado, "Sobre la expresión de la impersonalidad" (Proceedings of the IV ASELE Congress, 1994).
