Contributions à une sémantique argumentative et énonciative: adjectifs qualificatifs neutres et adjectifs qualificatifs extrêmes.
(Universidad de Murcia, Servicio de Publicaciones., 2018) Gil Casadomet, Aránzazu
Abstract: The scientific research detailed in this paper aims at some adjectives in contemporary French from a pragmatic and semantic perspec- tive. We suggest the hypothesis according to which there exist certain semantic instructions having an effect upon the grammatical mood and verbal tense to match with the same lexical meaning of adjectives and in according to the intrinsic graduation. This linguistic analysis undertaken in this investigation finalizes with a classification of French adjectives on the verbal mode and tense. We have classified the adjectives in adjectifs qualificatifs neutres and adjectifs qualificatifs extrêmes according to the intensification or absence of it in the intrinsic gradation of such adjectives used with certain grammatical moods and verbal tenses.
