Language: Spanish -------------------------- METHODOLOGICAL INFORMATION -------------------------- 1. Description of the methodology used to generate the dataset. A quasi-experimental study with pre–post measurements was conducted with a non-randomized intervention group composed of nursing degree students (2nd and 3rd year) at the University of Murcia, Spain, during the 2022–2023 academic year. Participants voluntarily took part in a 25-hour online training program based on high-fidelity clinical simulation (HFCS) telecare, designed to address social isolation and loneliness in older adults (HELPeN program). The training program was structured in two modalities: - Asynchronous theoretical training: 5 online modules delivered via the Sakai virtual platform of the University of Murcia (20 hours). - Synchronous practical training: a 5-hour high-fidelity clinical simulation session conducted via Zoom, comprising 5 telephone call scenarios with standardized patients. Data were collected at two time points (pre- and post-intervention) using validated measurement instruments administered through Google Forms: - Sociodemographic data: age, gender, and academic year. - Knowledge: a 24-item multiple-choice objective test developed by expert faculty members covering the contents of the training program. - Attitudes towards older adults: Kogan's Attitudes toward Old People (KAOP) scale (34 Likert-type items, 6-point scale; range 34–204; Spanish validated version). - Student satisfaction (post only): adapted version of the Students' Satisfaction Scale (18 items across 3 dimensions: satisfaction, utility, and usability; 5-point Likert scale). - Perceptions of educational practices (post only): Educational Practices Questionnaire (EPQ) (16 items across 4 dimensions: active learning, collaboration, learning diversity, and high expectations; 5-point Likert scale; Spanish validated version). Statistical analysis was performed with IBM SPSS Statistics v22.0. Descriptive statistics were calculated for all variables. Given non-normal distributions, Bootstrap analysis (1000 samples) was applied. Pre–post comparisons were performed using Student's t-test with Bonferroni correction. Effect sizes were calculated using Cohen's d. The study was approved by the Ethics Committee of the University of Murcia (Approval No. 3267/2021) and conducted in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki.
